Can't get Infograph Circular Complication to work

I’m using the Infograph watch face and am able to use the “Corner” complications no problem. However, when I try to use the “Circular”/Gauge complications (which I assume are for the sub-dial complication locations; other apps have options for gauges in those locations, too), I can’t get that complication to show up in the list of complications on my Apple Watch app.

Watch face: Infograph
Complication: Circular
Template: Various (e.g. Open Gauge Range Text, Open Gauge Image)
Complication location: Sub-dial (Left, Right, Top, Bottom)

I don’t know what I might be doing wrong. I believe I am doing everything correctly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I somehow got it to work. I added a new Infograph face and in that one the Circular complications showed up for the Sub-dial locations. When I then went back to my original Infograph face they showed up on that one, too. No clue. But it works now.
