Hello guys. Having some issue installing my Ecobee3 thermostat. Had a big crash and had to start from scratch. Anyways , got my ecobee api key from the developer site. When I add the ecobee component to my config.yaml file, i get a error from home assistant. (Invalid config
message: The following components and platforms could not be set up:) I don’t get the ecobee card that gives me a pin. I also don’t get the configurator.ecobee in states. I don’t have default_view in my conf.yaml file. I do have default_config in but nothing changes if I comment it out. Never had issues in the past with this component. Am not sure if its due to Hassio 93.1. I need a way to get that pin, any suggestions would be welcome.
