I just got a Pi4 8gb to move away from the VM I was using but when I try to install it I get a 500 error. I even tried the 32 bit and tried changing the DNS on my router. Is there a way to skip this update when installing and not make the install dirty? Or how often are more disk images made I may just wait until then or if I can somehow manually throw the update on my card that would be great.
Can you give us more details ? What procedure do you use to install Home assistant ? on SD card ? SSD ? When do you get a 500 error in which step or action ? Any error in the logs ?
I may have found someone having the same problem. Here is my error code:

I finally was able to get in to change to the solution in this thread. Can't install homeassistant:2020.12.0
