I initially got this error when I tried to install an Addon. So I decided to flash to sd card again with the image. But Now I get the error when it is busy installing on startup and the web is stuck with this message ‘Preparing Home Assistant’ screen. Viewing the log files I see the same error repeating the whole time . I am using a Raspberry PI 4
21-06-21 17:33:16 ERROR (SyncWorker_3) [supervisor.docker.interface] Can’t install homeassistant/raspberrypi4-64-homeassistant:2021.6.6: 500 Server Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.41/images/create?tag=2021.6.6&fromImage=homeassistant%2Fraspberrypi4-64-homeassistant: Internal Server Error (“Get “https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/”: dial tcp: lookup registry-1.docker.io: no such host”)
So this does seem to be a network related error. I moved the Pi to another router and it all of the sudden worked. Still do not understand why this is the case as both routers work and are connected to te internet
Getting the same error on a raspberry pi 4, tried both 64 bit and 32 bit versions (8.1). Rebooted network, tried several new installs but no luck. Installed version 7.6 and it worked like a charm then made a mistake to update to 8.1 and could not install addons anymore. From version 8.0 i’m getting the 500 error. I thought this was supposed to be a painless setup but no go. O and i forgot to mention i’m trying to install Home Assistant Operating System for raspberry pi4. I have no Netgear Nighthawk, just a normal router. I even tried changing ip, dns trough cli but no luck. The problem is not the home network but home assistant problem.
