Can't install gcc

A third-party integration just needs gcc to install it.

I tried install gcc through both terminal and studio code server add-ons. But it seems each of them is running in a docker container, so HA core won’t have access to gcc no matter what.

I installed Home Assistant OS in a virtual machine on ESXi.

Do you have any idea what should I do now?

Ask the third party integration developer.

I just solved it by installing gcc directly in the homeassistant container.

It wont last. Next time you update the OS it will disappear.
