I had hass.io running on my rpi4 back when they first came out and it ran fine until I moved to a condo and had to step away from it for awhile. Just moved into my own house and have been trying over the past week to get a fresh install of HA running on that same rpi. It gets stuck on docker. Here is the error I keep getting.
Error Log:
2024-12-27 15:33:33.059 ERROR (MainThread) [supervisor.docker.interface] Can’t install ghcr.io/home-assistant/raspberrypi4-64-homeassistant:2024.12.5: 500 Server Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.47/images/create?tag=2024.12.5&fromImage=ghcr.io%2Fhome-assistant%2Fraspberrypi4-64-homeassistant&platform=linux%2Farm64: Internal Server Error (“Get “https://ghcr.io/v2/”: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)”)
I have searched reddit, github, discord, and the forum and keep seeing the cause was on github’s side for the 2024.11.3 version. I can’t find any other solution provided except waiting for github and HA to fix the issue.
I have attempted with brand new SD cards, 32GB each, 3 cards, at least 5 times for each card over the past week, Same issue each time. Have been using the rpi imager and following the install guide straight from the ha website. Can’t find any updates about the issue anywhere, just more ppl posting they have the same issue. Can someone help me please? Is this really a github issue? Is it possibly an id10t error on my side? Saw something about DNS records but can’t find the post anymore.
