I have the exact same situation and I decided to give up as well, I have also a NEST Google that works well to make announcements … Alexa Media Player is a joke and a mess since first day

I have to admit, it’s been a couple of weeks that is working pretty fine. And the last issue it had was fixed right away. I’ll keep it for now, hopefully all major issues are definitely gone.
Enabling / disabling 2FA in Amazon moved me 1 step forward. Now when registering im passing veryfication but end up with singe “ERROR” msg when finishing Alexa Media Player configuration
Guys, not sure if this will work for everybody.
I failed to set up the integration since like 2 years, I always received a 500 error.
I already had 2FA/Passkeys set up. I went to my amazon security page to try to remove the 2FA to use this integration again and it told me that with legacy browsers I could use my password+the 2fa token, I tried and confirm it finally worked.
Finalluy managed it to worki ny changing region to .com
How do you get this signin screen? I don’t see a way to logout of Amazon, so I get signed in automatically.
Thanks, I just had to leave the 2SV key out of the integration and click submit, which brought up that screen. Amazon texted me a new 2FA key, which worked in the integration.
That’s not the recommended way to configure it. You should be using an authenticator app and provide the integration with the key so it can generate an authenticated login with OTP should/when it needs to on its own.

Resolved for me. Try it in different browsers. Mine only worked in Firefox.
