Running HassOS on pi4. SSH to HA. Whoami indicates root. APK raspberrypi-utils to install Vcgencmd. “vcgencmd” shows help. “vcgencmd commands” results in “Can’t open device file: /dev/vcio.” Owner and group of /dev/vcio are both “root”. Permissions are crw-------. Cat /dev/vcio results in “Operation not permitted.”
Can anyone explain this behavior? Does this have anything to do with Docker?
I’ve read some posts that suggest that hassos (Alpine) may not have been built with linux-rpi.
