Can't read Supervisor data error - unable to load Supervisor, add-ons, HA updates

I’ve had Home Assistant running well for a month or so, and was looking to upgrade to the latest release (as well as upgrade the zigbee2mqtt add-on)

When try to do so, nothing loads. I get the same behaviour when:

  • trying to load Supervisor
  • clicking “Show” on the various updates (HA Core 2022.2.0, HA OS 7.2, zigbee2mqtt 1.23.0-1)
  • trying load add-ons

The add-ons themselves are still working fine (e.g. I can control my zigbee devices).

Checking the logs, I have the following error:

Logger: homeassistant.components.hassio
Source: components/hassio/init.py:559
Integration: Home Assistant Supervisor
First occurred: 4:34:42 AM (23 occurrences)
Last logged: 10:12:34 AM

Can’t read Supervisor data:

I’ve tried rebooting HA, and hard refreshing the browser. I’ve also checked the space on my SD card and there’s plenty there.

Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Update: this error seems to have fixed itself.

It’s possible to do with the zigbee2mqtt update, which I managed to get loaded but which seemed to take a while to be recognised as updated. Fingers crossed this doesn’t come up again!

Did you ever figure out what exactly caused this? I’m having the same issue without even changing anything. All I did was reboot HA last night and now I can’t even create a backup or install addons. Any ideas?

Did you resolve this? I have the same issue. I did install a HAOS point update to 2023.8.3 where since then things started to go astray. I updated to .4 but still have the same issue. I would be interested to hear if your issue self resolved or what next steps to took.
