I have a Nortek model HUSBZB-1 dongle on my HA VM running HA OS 12.4 Core 2024.6.4
I have tred several times to exclude my YRL210 / YRL220 after it became non responsive several days ago. I t had been working as well as he does and then died… This is a recurring event every couple of months. I try to exclude I using the device from tteh z wave network screen
Any thoughts on how I can force exclusion?
Tell us about your Z-wave Add-on. Are you using Z-Wave-JS UI?

The z-wave-js add-on documentation here has a “remove failed” menu option for removing a failed node. Have you tried this option?
Just tried that It removed the device from home assistant. butt he device still thinks it is part of a network and I can not re - add it to the network
So now you need to factory reset the device according to the device’s manual.
did the factory reset . all codes cleared but still attached to network in the device’s mind
Ok I have repeated the resting of the Real Iiving Zwave lock several times over the last couple of days. My z wave network network longer sees it bu the lock still thinks it is part of a network I have even tried to change the z wave module…That didnt help either. I guess I am stuck buying a new lock.
Tried contacting Yale technical support… not very supportive Ok then I doubt throw money at it. I have excluded the lock from my HA. but the lock thinks it’s still included, with either modules,This seems to be a Yale problem that I can do nothing about but that is a bit strange because both modules thinks they are included
After a number of factory reset I got in. PITA. but hey its better then insteon
