This all started when I got a new (android) phone. When trying to login to the Companion app on the new phone using “myurl.duckdns.org” I got the error “The Home Assistant certificate authority is not trusted…”
Googling that error led me to my Nginx settings. I saw that my certificate had expired a year ago (even though the app on my old phone had no issue). I tried renewing the certificate, that didn’t work. So I deleted it and tried to add a new one. That also didn’t work. So I tried editing my host and adding a certificate, that also didn’t work. Each time I received this error
