Can't restore any backup!

Hello,

my Home Assistant OS installation is currently on a 128GB M.2 SSD, but with frigate the drive gets full quickly. So I bought a new 1TB SSD and thought the easiest and fastest way would be to clone the entire disk, but after that, the system won’t even start and I only get the GRUB error ‘Unknown Filesystem’. After a while, I thought before spending many hours fixing the problem I could just do a fresh install and then restore a backup. There was already the second Problem, when I click restore, the popup gets closed and nothing happens. I even waited for an hour because I read that this could take a while. The backup is only 110MB big so it shouldn’t be such a big deal.
I hope someone can help me.

My 45mb backup restore also took quite a while, it’s a shame there isn’t a progress bar. I’d try again and just let it run over night

Hello,

the mistake I made was that I didn’t consider that after restoring the backup, the web interface can only be reached via https, because I configured that in the configuration.yaml.
So after a couple of minutes when i changed http to https the restore was succesful and all worked just fine.
So for all wondering my backup file was about 105mb and it took approximately 5 - 10 minutes.
