Can't start Frigate

I went to Frigate to see who was in my driveway, and got:
“Frigate is not running, please start the add-on”

When I did, I got:
“Failed to start add-on
Port ‘8555’ is already in use by something else on the host.”

What??

I restart Home Assistant- same result.
I reboot the host- same result.

Any ideas? I haven’t done anything to Home Assistant since the last time I used Frigate to look at my driveway camera yesterday, what could be my issue?

You are most likely using the webrtc card and have it running on its own. You need to remove it and then re-set it up at which point it will use frigate’s instance of go2rtc

I had to look it up to see what the webrtc card is. - Nope, no webrtc card here.

Just the Frigate add-on and the custom:frigate-card.

I did “fix” it by changing the port that Frigate was using. Do you think the custom:frigate-card could be the culprit here? (The custom:frigate-card won’t work with any of my RTSP cameras, so what card would you suggest?)

No, it’s not the frigate card. Something is using port 8555

I didn’t think so. But as I said, I did “fix” it by changing the port that Frigate was using to 8550.
