Can't update to 0.110 - 404 Client Error: Not Found

Hi,
I’ve hit a wall trying to trouble shoot why my update keeps failing. Background info:

  • home assistant on pi, currently on 0.109.3, supervisor 224, HassOS 3.13
  • 16 Gb SD card
  • many restart/ hw reboot cycles

When I try to update, it spins for ages, and eventually throws up the following error in the supervisor log:

From searching 404 Client Error, it seems I may have an issue with storage space running out.

  • I have deleted my database file (currently 870MB)

  • Log file is 6MB

  • checking storage space via Samba gives plenty of free space (9.6GB free of ~14GB)

  • trying to use SSH seems to have its own issues now, logging in as root throws up weird errors (see second post for screenshot)

Anyway, besides blasting it all away and starting fresh, does anyone have any suggestions?
Or other info that I can provide that may help?

You don’t have enough space on your card for the update.

Thanks… Is 9.6gb not enough?

probably not. You need 2.5-3x the size of the image in free space for it to work. There’s a reason a 32GB or bigger SD card is recommended:

Alrighty, I’ve grossly underestimated image size then… I’ll try a bigger card. Thanks
