I have my HA running on my minipc (ubuntu 18.04), running version 2021.1.5. I can’t upgrade it to the latest version, 2021.5.4, because when I ran the upgrade, it reported my emmc flash has exceeded its lifespan. How can I bypass this?

So Ubuntu is the OS, what is the hardware it is running on? From my experience eMMC errors are usually hardware related.
