Hi, I’ve several (20) sensors that display a status (on or off) and I struggle to find a clear lovelace card for it. Are there any suggestions? I’m not looking for a vertical list/enumeration like the entity card.

How about the glance card?
Thanks for the reply, glance is a good choice but if you got like 20 sensors that starts to slow down and becomes obscure. What would be nice is the view of glance card and the entity filter card combined
So that I’m able to see directly which sensor is on or off
Use a glance card with this to only show those entities that are on:
On or off would be no filter at all as you would see all of them and might as well just use the glance card.
