Does anyone know how often CartoDB updates their base map tiles (as used on the ‘Zones’ map page)?
For many it probably doesn’t matter, but around these parts new houses and roads are popping up with speed, and that means the map used is now pretty significantly out of date; even though the OSM map is more recent and accurate.
Surprisingly this is the only relevant topic I could find on the issue. Maybe most users live in areas where nothing changes or nobody uses the Maps tab? I’ve opened an issue re: frequency of map updates.
I updated some road names on OSM over 1 year ago but they still show old names in HA maps tab.
I don’t recognize the problem…
My house was only built 1.5 years ago, and it is showing correctly in the Home-Assistant map. Even the shed in the back of my garden is there.
Could the update frequency be different for different parts of the world? I live in the Netherlands btw.

Did anyone find an answer to this? My guess would be that HA pulls the map tiles first time then once they are cached a new copy is never pulled.
There are new estates being built and like others OSM is showing the roads but my HA map does not.
