Case for PIR sensor?

What kind of case do you use for pir sensors like this one:

I can´t find any good on places like aliexpress

I made it myself

I used smaller PIRs but this case works well for my multi sensors

Well, sorry for hijacking :slight_smile:

But I need to ask if you are using Arduino or ESP with your setups, and if you are planning to make your units battery powered?

I’m using small pir also, and fitted them like in this mysensors post.
So easy to hide them.

@bloody2k
The sensors I posted above are arduino based using Mysensors.org. They are battery powered. I use a single CR123 3V battery and they are all reporting ~80% after 18 months of operation. ESP8266 are not suitable for battery operation.

@Dwalt What do you use as the arduino? Nano, pro mini?

A few different types: for mains powered sensors, light actuators and repeaters, i use the nano and ESP8266s. For battery operation, i stick with Pro-minis, the Mysensors.org community developed product - the Sensebender and a few bare atmega328 boards such as this one also from the Mysensors.org community.
