Caseta integration feedback please?

I may “allow” my electrician to install some caseta light switches/dimmers in my remodel for sake of efficiency (installing and wiring 3/4-way switches).

If anyone could be kind enough to provide feedback on the stability/reliability of the switches with regard to HA integration, I’d very much appreciate it.

Also, I see there are a number of different “bridges” that the integration works with…are there some that are more reliable than others?

Thank you in advance,
AJ

PS: Have been retrofitting Z-Wave switches in other parts of the house and those are working pretty well, so I would continue with that but only see one similar (Zooz) device and if the electrician feels more comfortable installing “what he knows”, I’m probably ok with that.

I would not have any second thoughts about installing Lutron switches. My entire house is fitted with them and they are, by far, the most reliable devices that I own. If I had any complaint, it’s that I’m not 100% in love with the button style. However, with the release of their lineup of paddle style switches (Diva), that’s pretty much a non-issue with new installs.

Compared to their RadioRA line, Caseta is pretty affordable (all things being relative) and the comes with some limitations. Default levels cannot be set so, upon physical press, they will always be 100%. It’s a non-issue for me because my lights are almost completely driven by automations where you can manually define level. There is also a 75 device limit (switches, dimmers, lamp modules, and remotes) per hub so keep that in mind when planning it out.

I don’t think I could ever go back to Z-Devices for light control even though some of their features are pretty darn compelling.
