I’m experiencing a strange issue with my CCTV on Home Assistant. The live feed displays in real-time on the Home Assistant dashboard, but when I cast it to my Google Home Hubs, there’s a consistent 30-second delay.
It’s puzzling because the streams on the Home Hubs start almost instantly, so I doubt it’s a hardware limitation. The only clue I’ve noticed is that when I initially open the streams in Home Assistant, they begin around the 27-second mark. I suspect the Home Hubs might be starting the stream from the beginning of the cycle, which could explain the delay.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any suggestions for troubleshooting?
