CCTV management recommendations

Hi folks,
Zoneminder was working fairly well before the recent upgrade, but i’m now getting a bucket load of errors. It looks generally like not much has been done to zoneminder (and I cant find many HA community members still using it - so i’m assuming most have moved away - although please correct me if i’m wrong)

That said i wanted to ask what people are using to manage all their cameras, motion from them, and then viewing the videos captured etc.
I’ve tried BlueIris (but got rid of the windows machine, and wanted to use docker)
also tried Synology Surveillance station (but expensive for adding a few more cameras and not that good)

Really open to trying others, but wondered what folks recommend?

thanks in advance

For my “old” cameras, I’ve been a motion user for many years, though they don’t (yet) have a docker install.
I tend to save recordings to dropbox so I can access them from anywhere and I have a small batch script that deletes videos that are older than 7 days.
I mentioned “old” cameras above as I have added 3 hivision cameras which are now the main ones from a security point of view, that do recording (on built in sd-card), motion detection and notification automatically, so I only pull the RTSP feed in HA for monitoring. Actually works really well as I record in full res and monitor/stream in lower res so reduce bandwidth usage / stress on HA/Server.
