after updating hassos to the lates version 3.9 the hdmi cec integration seems to not be working for me. below is the error msg. just wondering if any one can point me in the direction of a solution.
"failed to open a connection to the CEC adapter
1:09 PM /usr/local/lib/python3.7/site-packages/pycec/cec.py (ERROR)"
using pi3 with hassio, cec component has been working fine for the last couple of years.

Same issue here, before updating I was receiving message “Not initialized. Waiting for init.” in the logs sometimes (maybe every 1-2 hours) but hdmi was working, but now the message is happening every 1-2 seconds and hdmi is not working
Found a hard reset of the pi to work for me. Good old Turn it off then turn it back on again.
