Hi there.
I recently purchased a Celexon Battery Projector Screen and wanted to share my set-up notes in case anyone else is looking to upgrade their home theater set-up.
The screen uses an RF remote so I was able to control it via Home Assistant using the Broadlink RM4 Pro thanks to this handy guide.
Things to note:
- When sniffing the RF codes with the Broadlink the remote needs to be very close to the bridge device
- When asked to hold the remote buttons you may have to release and re-hold (not sure why)
- At first I tried with a Sonnof RF Bridge but it doesn’t work out of the box, and the newer versions (which are all you can get these days) don’t seem to be so easy to flash with the firmware you’d need.
Now it’s all working it’s a great addition to my home theatre set-up!
