I have two issues/questions that I need help with. I have gotten pretty good with HA but never paid much attention to frontend as we don’t use the app often. Now that our remote control broke I will be using the virtual one I created in HA.
I using the Generic Remote Control Card from HACS. I got the actual remote working, but trying to figure out how to center the remote on the card. This is what it looks like at the moment:
As you can see it is on the left side of the card but would look nicer if I could center it.
The other issue has to do with automatic card resizing (not sure how else to call it). I want to create an easy to navigate dashboard. The goal is to create a dashboard for each of the rooms. Ideally I don’t want to have a separate tab within the dashboard (as I have it now). The issue I have is that if I add the remote with the rest of the cards on the main room dashboard it makes all cards extra long and difficult to navigate. Seeing the pictures below should help make sense to what I am saying.
If you look at the top of the picture you can see I am in the Recamara tab, and to get to the TV remote I have to click on the Tv Remote Tab.
The way I have it set up, if I want to play with the AC remote this is what it looks like
Now if I add the Tv Remote card to the main bedroom dashboard, this is what it looks like
That is basically what I want to end up with, but when set up like that if I open the thermostat, this is what ends up happening
As you can see with the TV card on same dashboard when I open the thermostat it stretches it way too much making it very difficult to use. The Alexa card does the same thing.
How could I prevent the other cards from getting stretched?
