Centralite Zigbee thermostat with heat pump

Hey all, I have a Centralite Zigbee thermostat that’s been working perfectly for years with my setup. Until today, this was a gas furnace and central A/C. Now I replaced the A/C with a heat pump, and adjusted the thermostat configuration (on the device itself) accordingly. The problem is that the device states don’t reflect what the thermostat is calling for.

The thermostat now has 4 modes: “Cool”, “Heat”, “Emergency Heat”, and “Off”. Cool and Off work fine and do exactly what you’d expect. “Heat” runs the heat pump. “Emergency Heat” runs the gas furnace and turns off the heat pump.

The problem: “Emergency Heat” on the device maps to “Fan” in Home Assistant, presumably because that’s what those wires were for before the heat pump was put in. The thermostat doesn’t actually have a “fan only” setting anymore.

Functionally everything is working fine, but the UI confusion could cause problems once heating season rolls around! Appreciate the advice.
