Change "Create snapshot before updating"

A nice feature is that before updating an add-on you’ll get a pop-up that has automatically checked to make a snapshot before updating. Since I work with HA in a VM, with nightly image level backups and always perform a snapshot before updating a number of add-ons or core at once, I don’t need the HA snapshots.

It would be nice if I could either globally set the checkbox for the snapshot to off. Or maybe if the Update button would have two buttons. One “Update with snapshot” or “Update without snapshot”.

Now you ask: “Is it really that much trouble to uncheck everytime before updating?”. Well, actually, yes. Happened a number of times that I forgot to uncheck.

@Gabrie , I’ve been trying to find a way to customize the behaviour of these automatic backups, but I didn’t find any. Do you know if it is possible to set up a password for these automatic snapshots?

Don’t think there is an option to set a password on them.
