Is it possible to convert a device domain from light to switch, not by using a template, and not by using ZHA (since in my case it is not a ZigBee device) ?
The option is there to convert a switch to light, but I am not sure if it goes the other way.
If it is possible then it should be under Settings → Devices & Services → Entities → → Settings pane
