just bought a house and the owner only know 1 code to operate this keypad. he does not know how to change/add/delete codes. once the pin is entered, keypad releases the magnet holding the door locked. i do not think there is a brain elsewhere. all is in this keypad. so theoretically, someone could hot wire it.
is there an outdoor keypad that i can use to replace it. bonus point if it is HA friendly so i can assign multiple codes to my kids. that way, if kid A enters his code, i know kid A is home and not kid B.
