Change firmware SmartLife gas detector

Need recommendation:
I bought a Gas detector that I thought was the one that Tasmota has a rebuild instruction for but when I got it it seems like it has ben upgraded to a newer version with a CB3S. Since I don’t like to be dependen on other onlineservices then my own I really do not like the Tuya concept.
So do I

  1. Keep it as it is with Tuya software connected in my Home assistant?
  2. Keep it as it is but with tuya-cloudcutter so it won’t be needing cloud services?
  3. Alternate firmware like Openbeken or other?
  4. Replace it with a ESP-12?

I would prefer #3 but I do not know if it is possible with this.

CB3S is supported by LibreTiny’s esphome fork - probably the tightest local integration you can get with the native api and ha :rocket:
