Change firmware to modify freq on HUSBZB-1 Stick US -> EU?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to flash a US-bought Nortek HUSBZB-1 stick with EU-firmware to make it use EU-frequencies?

No. The frequency changes require different hardware.

The 700 series can do software frequency selection but they are not supported by OZW 1.4 (and currently being implemented in 1.6)

Sorry to bump a really old thread, just useful information for somebody else searching.

I don’t know if the hardware is different or not, but i managed to cross flash a US HUSBZB to work with Australia/New Zealand frequencies (this might work because the frequencies are close).

I’m just curious as to how you cross flashed the us husbzb to work on New Zealand frequencies for zwave…I’ve found this is a problem at the moment as I bought one off amazon.

usa 908.4 MHz, 916 MHz
new zealand 919.8 MHz, 921.4 MHz

I’m still researching how to change the frequencies, so if you’ve been successful any help would be hugely appreciated.
