I’d like to be able to change the text shown in the iOS Home.app for a sensor. For example, one occupancy sensor is created for my Nest Cam “person detected”, but it just says that “Sensors” (the “room” into which I placed it on the Home.app) “is occupied”. I’d like it to say something like: “Person detected.”
I could move it to a new “room” called “Front Door”, so that the notification and status update say
Front Door
Person detected.
Any tips on how I’d go about setting the text used for status/notifications for a given device in HomeKit/Home.app?
