Change led strip controller

Ok, so my wife bought me a led strip light stand just like the picture below.

It’s now only possible to change the color with the remote that came with it.
Is it possible to change the led strip controller to a gledopto led strip controller?
I see only 4 wires coming from the led strip.
This is the current led strip controller

And these are the wires.

I’m not sure which one to get? Is it the rgbw controller from Gledopto? It has 5 pins, while there are only 4 wires coming from the led strip. There is a 4 pin led controller but that is WW V+ CW V-

No clue about that brand, but looks like a pretty standard 12V RGB led strip, so plenty of options.

The Dig-Uno is probably the best custom pre-built controller you can get. It comes pre-flashed with WLED. However, the main difference I noticed between that and your suggestion for the gledopto controller is that the Dig-Uno communicates over wifi (or ethernet) and doesn’t have Zigbee:

But WLED is only for digital LED strips (?)
Not sure what type we got here.

Good call, you’re right. I assumed that the controller he was comparing it too was for addressable LED strips, but it doesnt look like his is.

I guess it’s just a normal led strip. Is it possible to connect it to a rgb cct controller for example and just hook the 4 wires to it? I’m not sure which is v+ and rgb because the colors are mixed up… I see on the current led strip controller v+ it should be the yellow wire.

That is usually not a big problem.

Since it’s LEDs, if it’s not connected in the correct it won’t light up.
But if you just find a ground, then you can quite easily find the VCC.
The other three is just a matter of trial and error. Make it green, move the cable between the pins until it’s green light.
Then do the same for the next and red color.

Fixed it with a Tuya ZLL led controller, which is now compatible with Zigbee2mqtt.
