Changed HAOS to static IP now can't reconnect

I used HAOS network settings to change to a static IP address (192.168.1.37). I then rebooted the HAOS host, but I can no longer connect to the HA UI on port 8123. I can ping the new IP address, and the HAOS console displays the correct (new) IP address.
I can’t connect using homeassistant.local:8123 either.
Any idea how I can regain access? Or switch back to DHCP so that I can set the static IP reservation on the router instead?

Connect to http://192.168.1.37:8123

Edit, corrected url.

That doesn’t work either

I corrected the URL.

Have you tried the observer (port 4357)?

Is port 8123 open? (Use nmap)

Is the device you are trying to connect with on the same network (does it have an IP in the 192.168.1.0-254 range?)

Thanks for the suggestions. I decided that it would be quicker to delete HAOS and start over…

I just ran into the same problem. Following nickrout’s suggestions, I checked and confirmed with nmap that port 8123 is open. I’ll probably do the same as OP and start over, but I figured I’d comment here since this feels like it might be more than simple user error.

If you’re going to start over, don’t change the HAOS network settings. Make the IP address a reserved address on the router.

Thanks. That’s what I’ll do.
