Changed username and password, now I’m locked out…

Hello…need some help here…I used the web gui to change the username and password. I then logged out and cannot log back in. I remember the changes I made and do not know why I get an invalid password error. I have the latest homeassist updates. I also tried the previous username and password, no luck…can someone please help. Thank you!

clear your browser cache, all cookies, and while you at it, find and remove the saved-login for your HA(not that latest matters, you’ll just end up with 2, unless you click update

Thank you, will give that a try. Not sure if this info helps, but I also tried logging in via the iPhone app…got the same invalid user/pass error.

im not sure, but if you were logged in with the “old” username/passwd on any other devices, it might not have been change yet( New refresh Token ), not sure either whether a restart would change that, but then there is the Console option, which Francis linked to
But first try with any device and clear ALL caches in Browser, not last 4 hours, or day, all !
