Changed wifi password

i changed wifi password and now do not seem to be able to connect to ha, what to do?

Can you plug in an ethernet cable?
If not, then it depends on your setup.
You will probably need a monitor and keyboard on that machine that has HA running and change your wifi credentials that way. If you are on a Pi you can probably take the SD card out and change your wifi credentials that way.

i run ha on a mac, and it is connected to the wifi; but still, i cannot connet to ha on homeassistant.local:8123

any other ideas?

sorry to try here again, but after researching further, i am still not able to find a way to reestablish connection to ha on a wired mac after changing wifi password (and thinking about it again, i do not really understand why new wifi password would have any influence on a wired connection, so maybe just a coincidence that this happens at the same time)

so anyone with any ideas on how to reestablish the connection to ha when lost?
