Hi,
since yesterday, I see a strange encoding when I open Home Assistant via the Chrome web browser. Please see the attached screenshot. The iOS app works fine and Safari works fine, only Chrome gives me the problems.
Has anything changed? I have mixed Latin and Cyrillic names for entities. Any ideas how to fix that?
It’s a simple Caesar cypher, the letters are all shifted two characters to the left, so that C maps to A, D maps to B, etc. This is an issue with Chrome and unrelated to HA. Probably an extension you are using. Disable them all to see if the issue goes away then enable one at a time.
Edit: to provide background, the only reason I recognize this is because someone on Discord had the same issue, though they didn’t identify the problematic extension.
