Charging 2 devices from one solar power 5v charger

I want to charge 2 curtain devices via one solar charger placed in a window. One panel would be ideal as I don’t want to compromise the view out of this window by more than one panel. I realise that solar panels are not particularly efficient through glass but think that 2 smart devices could be charged enough, particularly if controlled by automations that check charge levels in both devices.

There appear to be a number of 5v output panels available. However, this only works if I can have a smart switch of some variety in between the panel and the 2 devices. This could send incoming charge down the appropriate charging cable once an automation identifies which needs charging.

I see a lot of smart switches but these seem to be for light fittings etc. Is there a smart switch for my particular purpose?

I think you will have a problem with the setup.
Your charging controller will have to be online all the time to listen for requests from the battery devices to be charged. This means the charging controller will eat more power than it saves compared to just dumb charging the battery devices.

Even in the middle of winter with low daylight hours?

Why can you not connect the two loads in parallel?
