Cheap Remote Switches

I’m looking for battery operated remote switches which I could use to trigger actions in hass. Right now I just have a Raspberry Pi running hass and some WiFi devices.

I was thinking about integrating Z-Wave but that wouldn’t be the cheapest solution. Are there other alternatives?

These are cheap and work well with a small antenna on the transmitter.

@silvrr Those are RF switched outlets.

If you just need switches then Amazon Dash buttons can be hacked. They cost $5/£5

Whoops. I misread his post. Amazon dash buttons work, the same person just made a video on how to get them going. Not exactly as switches but should be a good start.

I don’t like 433 MHz technology as it’s usually a one-way communication.

Amazon dash buttons are great but they only provide one button and they have a delay of about 5 seconds.
