Cheap smart plug that returns the state?

As per subject, I see those cheap 6 Eur RF433 switch are great, but they don’t return the state. Then there are the 30-40-50 Eur WIFi switch that I guess return the state.

Is there anything in between (maybe 10-20 Eur range) that does the trick?

Take a look at the sonoff products. There are many third party firmwares, including mqtt based solutions.

Thanks, I don;'t mind attaching two cables to a Sonoff switch, although I would rather stay away to soldering and installing formwares.

Any recommendation for a ready to go Sonoff style switch?
