Cheap ssd and ram for intel nuc

Hey Guys!
Can you suggest which ssd (sata 3, 2.5") I can get for cheap from aliexpress? Or they are all crap and it’s better to go with kingston or something similar?
Same thing with 1.35v ram (DDR3L, SODIMM, 1600 МГц). I am not really familiar with ram sellers, so I have no clue here

Thanks!

NEVER try to save on an SSD for heavy (read write/read intensive) workloads.
Since home assistant is an always on device. A cheap SSD would degradade within ~1-3 years.

I am not going to tell you the difference between e.g. a Samsung vs Samsung Pro, the internet is full of it.

Glad I have asked here before purchase
Got it, thanks

Any thoughts on ram?

just read the spec requirements of the NUC. Alternatively search on internet for compatibly reports (others). Not really an issue… But I would go for the “mainstream” RAM it has to be reliable after all.

I wouldn’t be skimping on that either TBH

Aliexpress RAM is crap.
Bought DDR3 for PC and DDR4 for laptop/NUC, PC ram is working but it’s missing XMP profile

Laptop/NUC DDR4 RAM: in HP latop it’s not working at all, in NUC it’s working but when it turns on LED is blinking which means bad RAM but it is working despite blinking LED

Saving few dollars not worth it in this case
