Cheap W1209 Thermostat module data read out and maybe control

Hello…

I have this lovely cheap thermostat that is controlling my boiler since the 150,- american pesos version took the ticket and now was hunting for options to read out the values or even control it.
So i found a breakout and some info, but i am not sure where to go next
Maybe someone can pushme into the right direction?

Looks like it is kinda semi inteligent
I have a couple esp01 to play with which have RX/TX available…
Thx for any thoughts

On that page they talk about a ST-Link V2 connector…
I have a DSD TECH SH-U09C2 USB to TTL Adapter Built-in FTDI FT232RL IC for Debugging and Programming…would that be equivelant to the one they show to find out how to use/manipulate the thermostat?

I have the same thermostat, and i would love to integrate it with home assistant

Is it possible??
