Cheapest add-on switches

I have “dumb” toggle switches everywhere in signle-pole,3-way, and 4-way setups and am slowly moving over to Zooz Z-Wave rocker switches. I like being able to always press up to turn on and down to turn off without having to assess the switches current position so add-on switches are appealing.

However, this article suggests add-on switches may not work with Zooz switches.

Would these work with Zooz switches? They seem simple enough without requiring constant power so I’m hopeful.

Are there any other cheaper options for this? I have lots of switches to replace.

I think the problem you will have is lack of constant power at the add-on switch and a neutral.I would run it by Zooz.

All my other switches on. 3 way circuits are manual toggle switches (not decora), so pretty easy to just flip it the other direction. They cost $2 or $4 for a nice one.

OK thanks. I guess I’ll stick with cheap “dumb” switches.
