Cheapest window/door sensor solution?

Hi team,

Just got into the game of hassio and I love it. My latest project is going to need some window/door sensors.

But which one to use and it would be nice if we can share the most cheapest ones with the best review/experience.

I would say the Xiaomi sensors are one of the cheapest ones even with buying the hub and the most reliable IMHO. The cheapest are probably 433Mhz RF + the tx/rx hardware (also they eat batteries - the sensors that is). The most expensive are probably zwave.
