Hi everyone, I tried to search on this forum about a possible solution, I found something related but since I’m new to this I couldn’t figure how to solve my specific issue.
I have HA running on a Raspberry, I found that after a power outage (and so when all my devices will restart), HA is booting relatively fast, while some other devices will keep a while (my router, switches, etc.), the issue is: if my switches (that are seen as “tuya” and have been integrated into HA as Smart Life swiches) aren’t available on the network at the moment HA has started, they are shown as “unavailable” and they will never come back online in HA (so my automation using them, will not work). I have to restart HA manually and finally they come back available.
Is there a way to check periodically for their presence to resume them someway? Or can I check for their availability when HA is starting? And eventually restart HA until they are available? So far the only solution I found is to delay by X minutes HA starting on a reboot… but it looks a poor solution to me.
Thanks for your help!
