Children internet access time management

Hello,

I’m currently limiting internet access for my children on a daily base to 45 minutes. On the Week-end the access is extended to 2 hours. For that a Fortinet firewall is used with URL quota. By default the access is blocked quickly because the clients (Windows, Qnap HD station, SmartTV or tablet) are always connected and the OS is generating trafic all the time.

Question, I would like to use a Raspberry PI touch screen to reset to zero the quota when my kids wants to have access to the internet. For that I need an SSH access to the firewall and a few command lines. I would like also to enable/disable POE on the acces points to cut Wi-Fi.

I’m new in home assitant, is there any modules or components to do that ? In fact I simply need a few buttons on the touch with command lines behind.

Thank you for helping me.
In short future, I’ll probably extend the usage to all connected devices in my home.

Thx

Something like this?

Hi, yes I’ve seen the module but I’m still trying to understand how to add this switch to my configuration.

Just define it in your configuration.yaml. It is built-in to the system.

Big evolution, I’m here now

Quota reset on the firewall and port shutdown on a Cisco switch.

Question 1: How can I get the current status of the Cisco Port, I would like to show if the access point is up or down. Another option is to change the picture when the Wi-Fi is UP or Down.

Question 2: The status of the Wi-Fi ON and OFF are always OFF.

Question 3: I would like to allow the internet access reset only once a day
