Yeah… just went and played and the speed does control and it does just snap to 0%, 33%, 66% and 100%. Weird about the oscillate and the reverse as for sure mine doesn’t… it is one of the clear blade fans where they spin out, so backwards would do nothing :). I’m going to try now to remove as I seem to have the one entity, but might be cause I have my light on a different power switch so maybe it didn’t sense the load and left it off… if I can get the speed control on the UI then I’m fine as my switch had two power lines running to the ceiling box and so I have a zooz dual switch for light and fan separate…
So much for Remove being easy… I unchecked, but then after submit I get the error and it shows checked again… a loop. I’ll try to make it work in a card… found one in HACS that allows Low, Med and High buttons and seems to need a service call to adjust a property for the speed.
you can delete it from the devices/entity page too and it’ll remove it completely. Then you just re-add it
