Choosing platform for home automation

Hi,
I am having hard time to choose platform for my home automation. Currently I am running Home Assistant powered by CHIP with some DIY ESP8266 based MQTT sensors and Philips Hue lights with bridge. Altought needs for future is more than just lights. For instance AC outlets, motion - door/window sensors and some Danfoss thermostats.

I am really not sure what I should buy next, some kind of hub like Wink, Samsung Smartthings, Xiaomi, something based on RF 433.92 MHz or something else? I wouldn’t like to relay only with wifi especially with AC outlets.

I have some Z-wave hardware with a Vera controller, looks easier than messing with a usb zwave thingie.
Will probably buy some Xiaomi hardware because it’s so cheap.
