Hello everyone!
I recently started automating devices around my house, and I want to begin with a video doorbell. I’d like to install a doorbell with a camera so I can see who’s at my door using my phone.
I don’t need the door to unlock from the phone, just video and alerts. I also plan to install Home Assistant to control this device (and others I’ll add later).
Which doorbell would you recommend for this setup? And is it better to go with a battery-powered model or a wired one?
I’m new to all this, so I’d really appreciate hearing what models you use and why.
I personally am waiting for the Unifi G6 unit to come out.

Reolink Doorbell has the best HA integration.
Thanks for the help! I went with the Reolink video doorbell WiFi. It was easy to set up and works perfectly for what I need.
