Christmas time is over. Of course i added my lights to homeassistant. Added an automation to turn things on/off – and now everything is in a box in the attic
I use spook to find invalid automations and such. And it’s complaining that my automation and my twinky configuration isn’t valid anymore. I’m looking for a way to featuretoggle/park my christmas configuration till november.
I tried making an automation that just disables the automation & configuration based on an input_switch. But is there a better way? (while keeping some references to christmas functionality. E.g. Some scene’s like turn all lights on/off scene’s i don’t want to completly redo.)
In a perfect world i would even want to export & import the christmas configuration. I almost find it sad that Homeassistant is moving away from yaml configuration. Otherwise i could even merge & demerge a christmas configuration branch and use git as management tool.
