Chrome not finding /static/www msEdge still finds it

I just upgraded to 118 (I don’t think this affects it) and my content on /static/www stopped being found when using a chromium browser but works fine with Microsoft Edge. I have a .png image and three javascript custom controls. Chrome gives a 404 not found???

FYI running in python virtual environment

I thought it was working on a diferent computer but when I cleared the cache, anything from static/www fails with a 404

SOLVED: Not sure exactly why it solved it but I loaded the HACS integration to see if it would load the custom components. I only loaded it and all my custom components work fine!!
